Frequently Asked Questions

What is the management fee?
10% of monthly rent collected for residential properties, 12% for commercial. This covers all routine management: marketing, screening, collection, maintenance coordination, inspections, and reporting. Legal proceedings, major renovations, and insurance claims are billed separately with your prior approval.
How often do I get paid?
Rent is collected on the 1st of each month. We deduct our fee and any approved expenses, then transfer the net amount to your account by the 5th business day. You receive a detailed statement showing every transaction.
Who handles repairs?
Tenants report issues via our portal. We assess urgency, dispatch vetted contractors from our panel, approve quotes above your threshold (default 50,000 RWF), and send you before/after photos. Emergency repairs (water, electricity, security) are actioned immediately at any hour.
What if a tenant doesn't pay?
Structured escalation: formal notice at day 5, demand letter at day 14, legal proceedings if unresolved. Our lease agreements include clear default clauses. We manage the process and keep you updated at every stage.
